17-369 APPROVAL OF THE CARRYOVER OF REMAINING FUNDS FROM 2017 GRANTS TO 2018 GRANTS

Motion by Carpenter, seconded by Grant to approve the carryover of CCIP Grant Funds from 2017 to
2018 as authorized by the Ohio Department of Education, as described below. These funds will be used
for teacher and paraprofessional salaries and benefits, professional development, and supplies for
instruction for students in grades K-3. Voting aye on the roll call: Carpenter, Grant, Stone, Guido, and
Leeds. Nays: None. Motion carried.

17-370 APPROVAL OF REVISED CCIP GRANT AMOUNTS FOR FY2018 WITH CARRYOVER AND
ADDITIONAL FUNDS

Motion by Grant, seconded by Guido to approve the revised CCIP Grant Funds for FY 2018 with carryover
and additional funds, as described below. These grants, with the exception of Class Size Reduction, will
be used for teacher and paraprofessional salaries and benefits, professional development, and supplies
for instruction for students in grades K-3. The Class Size Reduction Grant is used for teacher coaching 
and professional development throughout all schools. Voting aye on the roll call: Grant, Guido,
Carpenter, Stone, and Leeds. Nays: None. Motion carried.
