88 new single family dwellings were approved with a total construction value of $16,201,049. While this is a significant increase from the 54 dwellings approved in 2015, it is anticipated that the “new normal” for residential growth in Monroe will be around 50 to 60 new homes per year.

Most of the residential development continues to be located in Monroe Crossings and Wyandot Woods; however, some development has occurred in Gil Mar Meadows and a low but steady development within the Tall Oaks Subdivision.
