Monroe City Attorney Phillip Callahan announced that the Board of Elections certified the income tax increase for the November ballot with no change in the language.

City tax increase this year, school levy next year....

Some things never change. I hope they used Mrs. Rubin's Tax Proposal. It is the best if you live in Monroe and work outside Monroe.

The 0.5% tax increase is certified according to the Butler County Board of Elections.
