Well call me a kid then because I would love to have some veggie options. (non fried) A lot of places have broccoli or mixed grilled vegetables.

judging strictly from your picture I would say it does.

In fact I can at least tell the chicken was grilled in house as opposed to coming out of a bag like at panera.

to each their own; I don't think we enjoy the same things in a restaurant.  I'm after quality; not quantity.

Guys, again, I'm not saying $9.00 is in itself expensive, I'm saying the portion was undersized for the money.

Does anyone out there think the portion size on the Cesar Salad at the Clubhouse is in the same ballpark as a similarly priced salad from say... a Panera Bread? I don't think so.

As a matter of fact, I was at The Square in Middletown this weekend and my friend ordered a Cesar Side salad. I would bet my next meal that her SIDE salad was twice the portion as I've had at the Clubhouse with their regular salad.

I guess there is the chance things have changed there since the Clubhouse has been opened longer. I've only tried the salad twice. But still, I'm quite certain that both times there was not much to it.

Check around Gordon, that's fairly priced.

If you find a sub $9 Caesar Salad, full entree size, or sub $9 entrees for that matter let me know! But as far as our experience goes that's the market value now.

an owner who cares about what his customers think about his establishment is just a huge bonus...kudos..

I went Thursday night with some friends and the owner or manager (not the guy in the picture above) came over and talked to us to get our opinion on a few things.  He was very nice and definitely showed that they are constantly wanting to improve.  They seem to want to be very involved with the community.  I think their prices are VERY reasonable.  I'm really puzzled when I see people say it's overpriced.   I love this place and I hope they continue to be very successful!!!

Agree! Great customer service. Great atmosphere. And a great selection of beer!

But for the money, I just don't think the food is worth it. Or even that filling for us fat guys.

So following is a small post with a few more of my thought entitled Gordon's Last Bite At The Clubhouse Sports Grille.

Thank you for all of your posts- we do read them. The Lights or lack there of are being addressed. We have made some staff changes to improve your dinning experience. We have also tweaked some of the food to hopefully make all happy- (a difficult task) but one that must happen. So please if you had a so-so experience in the past, do try again. You are the reason we are here!
Go Bengals!! Sunday will be a great day!!

We went last night for dinner.  I had the Ham & Swiss on a Pretzel bun.  It was DELICIOUS!!  Definitely a sandwich you have to eat with a knife and fork.  Next time I will request a real plate instead of the basket with paper liner so cutting the sandwich is easier.  Hubby got the Philly steak sandwich and wasn't too impressed but it wasn't horrible.  The bread was just a little dry and hard.  Overall another great experience!!  Our service was GREAT!  Can't wait to go back again and try something else!  The prices are very reasonable too which will definitely keep us coming back more often.  Our bill for a family of 4 with an appetizer and 2 beers along with 4 dinners was $48.00.  I think that's very reasonable.

At barely 5' I agree.  The booths (and tables with highback stools) are more comfortable than many B&Gs in this area.  And -  REALLY - believe it or not a comfortable place to enjoy the food is a real plus when you are not an "average"  size person!!

Just ate there tonight for the first time and had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich.  It was a huge piece of chicken and was very good, will definitely go back again.

Myself and my girlfriend went in last Saturday; first time for both of us.  We shared appetizers (spinach and artichoke dip w/chips and Potato skins) we didn't eat it all but certainly gave it a good old try Wink

I know this has been mentioned and is being addressed but by golly lighting is a MUST for the entrance road, it's scary, especially on a busy night....

I will most certainly go back and take my Family so they can enjoy it too!!!   Great place!!!!

Husband and I went for first time today (was hoping for a coupon but, oh well).
We thought the food was very good for a sports bar and grill.  We shared a Philly steak sandwich and a Pork tenderloin (fried).  Steak was very tasty and tender - maybe too much bread in the sandwich (speaking as a woman who TRIES to limit at least some carbs and calories - just water for me, thanks) but, hey, you have to have something to hold in all that cheese, steak juice and onions, right???  The pork tenderloin was, in our opinion, exceptional - yummy yum!!

The best news for me is that they will have Trivia network in January!!  YAY!!  No smoke, decent atmosphere,  good food, nice and efficient staff AND NTN!!!  Could I ask for more????

Da Wife™ and I went down there for the first time Friday night for dinner. I got the buffalo chicken sammich and she got some boneless wings. It was busy but we didn't have to wait. Waitress was fantastic and the beer was cold but the wait for the food was a wee bit longer than I would have liked - but everything was correct and we got out of there for less than $25.
All-in-all, I'm pretty happy to have another choice in town and we'll definitely be back.

Here are a couple suggestions:
1. Get rid of the low-top tables. They just don't feel right...it's hard to explain why; it just feels awkward.
2. I know this isn't exactly doable but I would have definitely picked different carpet...something with a subtle pattern or something. The solid gray is going to look horrible in about a year.
3. Expand the menu. It seems a bit limited to me. (or it could just be the lack of pictures or eye-diversions or something, I dunno.)
4. Do something with the blue cheese dressing. Too "watery."
