Is the Old Street Saloon a gay bar? I stopped in not long ago and the woman sitting next to me had an Adam's apple! That place was a blast! Has anyone on this forum gone there before? I always see restaurants in the community on threads but never noticed this place having one.

What is that even supposed to mean?

I guess I can relate; I wish ignorant people would stay in the closet where they belong but all too often they don't.

Do you not anticipate going in because you're not gay? I'm straight and went in unaware of what it was, and had a blast! Nice people, cold beer. Oh well, you're entitled to you're own opinion and choices. (Ecxept if you're gay or not)Wink JMO

I never said drinking was immoral. I said "I" do not drink so why would I go to a bar and I am 'straight' so why  would I even think about going into a gay bar? Even the Bible states it is ok to drink. Jesus make wine and Paul even states wine is ok for your stomach and infirmities in 1 Timothy 5:23.
But churches should not encourage drinking because there are so many people that are trying to escape that malady for in Romans 14:21 states "It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak."

Romans 1 verses 20 through 32.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Please forgive me for making fun of the former leader of the National Association of Evangelicals because he smokes Crystal Methamphetamine and enjoys homosexual relations in secret, all the while profiting financially for running down the road those who do such things openly.

There I feel better.

You should.

It's amazing how many can't scratch beneath the surface the situation for what it really is.
