Is it really worth the risk even if you do not believe it would turn out this way?

Risk of American 'megadroughts' for decades, NASA warns.

"Our projections for what we are seeing is that, with climate change, many of these types of droughts will likely last for 20, 30, even 40 years," said NASA climate scientist Ben Cook.

When you build mega cities in the desert. Los Angeles, Las Vegas.
This is already a reality for about 25% of the American population.

Many places in Southern California pay homeowners to rip up their yards and landscaping that require watering. And then they replace it with succulents, and then making a yard out of stones, pebbles and such.

This isn't so much a question of a fraction of degree of temperature fluctuation. This isn't a left or right disagreement of Science vs. Religion. Which, lets face it, that is what Climate Change actually is.

This is a problem of no matter if you believe science or not, water becoming scarce.
