Prayers to the family and I hope they locate her soon.  I wish there was someway to assist in looking for her other than to just watch for the car.

No, because no one is smart enough to get onstar to locate the car.

Did she have a cell phone?  Maybe she could be tracked by the ping of signals off towers that she drove in the area of?

I hope the family hears something soon!

There will be a prayer meeting in the  Mt Pleasant chapel at 4 o’clock today.

This sickens me!  Sec 8 troubled apartment complex in Middletown.
I pray when they find out who did this - they are dealt with appropriately!
Someone on Facebook stated they live in the neighborhood behind her home and there were some unknown males walking between the houses!
Let this be a reminder that when we see something that doesn't look right - check it out or call the Police.  I assure you if I see anyone walking through yards in my neighborhood - I will either stop to ask who they are or call the police and have them check it out...

I apologize up front for the bad timing. I had intended to post this yesterday before this info was released but didn't get to it.  I don't in any way want to distract from this poor woman being found and what a tragedy this is but I must ask Mr. Kelley if he is insinuating on a public forum that the Police were too incompetent to have tried to track the car?

It's frightening, this world we live in.
I was just in Middletown shopping this morning, and thought at the time, about that poor lady.
We go about our daily business, sometimes with blinders on.
I found myself being more vigilant about my surroundings. I know I always should, but sometimes we just go la-la-la along.
Or at least, I do.Embarrassed

I heard about the finding yesterday but it was more gruesome than what the paper reported. So many people add their own little details to the story and pretty soon it sounded like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie. I am not trying to degrade the seriousness of the crime but there is no need to add to the story. And just because the car was found in a Section 8 housing parking lot does not mean one of the residents in that area had anything to do with it. In fact it may have just been a conveninet dumping place for the car where they could go next door and get into a car in the movie theater parking lot and disappear. I am sure the security cameras in the movie theater will be looked at (if there are any). As for Mr. Kelley's post I know he was just voiceing his thoughts as everyone else may have been thinking the same thing but no one reported on it. I am praying that the family maybe comforted in this time of their need and that the perpetrator's of this crime quickly be found and brought before justice.

According to the Journal....

The residents of Mount Pleasant have been gathering for prayer vigils over the last few days to “lift up the family in prayer” and will do so again today at 4 p.m., Kappers. The vigil will be for Mount Pleasant residents only and will be closed to the media and general public.

They said it's been ruled a homicide. This is so tragic. :(

I haven't heard any updates but personally, I live VERY close to Ms. Rowe and I was very scared this weekend, even putting things up against my front door because we have no idea if this was a random act or something that was planned over time.  I hope they find who did this and why very soon for her family's peace of mind as well as all the residents in the area.  Cry
