Keeping Spirits High: Avoiding Pitfalls That Damage Morale

Despite today’s challenging business environment, most workers remain fairly upbeat, according to recent research. In the Accountemps survey, 39 percent of workers characterized the morale at their companies as very good, and another 42 percent said it was somewhat good.

This is good news for employers who foster supportive cultures. Organizations that build an environment where people are proud to work, are able to partner with and learn from colleagues they respect, and see their contributions are valued can experience greater productivity and innovation
