With Monroe as a fast growing area, Rotary feels there is a need for business professionals, business owners, government and school officials to come together and develop their own Rotary Club.  Rotary is great place to network and give back to your community and the world.

The first Informational meeting for the new “Monroe Rotary Club” will be held on THURSDAY November 10th  from 8:30-10AM

Representatives from Rotary District 6670 will be in attendance.  We plan to show a short video about Rotary in general, then we will explain further what our Rotary District 6670 is involved in.  We will have a short testimonial video to close the presentation then time for questions and answers.

We will have hand outs and sign up materials for interested persons to become a charter member.  Chartering will happen when we have the requisite number per Rotary International requirements, so you will want to apply as soon as possible.

Please join us for our first informational meeting

Where: Monroe Community Room in Monroe Library, 6 Elm St, Monroe

When: THURSDAY November 10th

Hi Everyone-

Thank you for coming to our 3rd informational meeting for the new Monroe Rotary Club last week.  As promised here are the talking points you asked for.

As a reminder, we are planning 2 organizational meetings this month of April, the first on Wednesday April 12 in late afternoon and one on April 26 time TBD.  The time suggested was 3:30 and I am offering choices for a location:
1.  The new Rivertown Brewery on Rt. 63;
2.  A meeting room at the new Mid-Pointe Library on the campus of Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village;
3.  The Sports Bar in Dixie Highway just north of Rt. 63?  I would like a vote on the location by the end of this week, please.  Email me back.  This next meeting we will be doing some planning and discussion on Charter, Officers, Club organization etc.
