How can I get them to consider enforcing the current speed limit on Stillpass, Woodsdale, and Tam-o-shanter.

Last I checked it was 25, not 40.

You might contact the police on their non emergency number.

I moved to Monroe in 1989. I lived on Macready for 12 years+ then moved to Bridle Creek.

Why do you ask?

If you live on Macready, like I did when my kids were little, you keep them away from the dangerous road. The speed limit was 35 when I lived there. The speed limit sign was in front of my house. Sometimes people would exceed the speed limit by a great amount. We would always yell and call them names. Although it never helped, it did make us feel better. And our kids knew to stay out of that street.

The city should lower the speed limit on Old Street. Late at night, there is usually quite a few cars speeding out of the bar there. You can hear the small engines screaming up the hill too.

so when you lived there I take it Kroger wasn't there and neither was light at 63? Things have changed since then, and if you don't live here any more maybe you should be worried about city you do live in.

I am confused, you call this street dangerous and told your kids to stay away when you lived her. But now that you live somewhere else you want to raise speed limit? How does that make any sense?

No matter what the speed limit, Macready is no place for children to play.
