The Four Blood Moons starts Tuesday. It is a period in which there are four lunar eclipses, called the Tetrad.

From the article;

It's called a blood moon, and this one is just the first in a series of four consecutive total eclipses.

Within a year and a half, North America will be able to see a blood moon a total of four times. The moon takes on this color during the eclipse as it passes through the Earth's shadow, which is the color of a desert sunset.

Tuesday's blood moon comes right on time for the Jewish festival of Passover, which commemorates the ancient Israelites' exodus from slavery in Egypt. According to the Bible, God cast 10 plagues upon the Egyptians, the final plague being the death of the firstborn. The Israelites painted lamb's blood on their doorways so that this plague would pass over their homes

And this is very interesting too!

Please don't look to a televangelist for astronomy lessons.   Can we at least agree on that?

I am not. Here read CNN's post from NASA. And history is pretty hard to ignore even when it confirms God's own word!

He killed only the first born. Due to Pharaoh's stubborn attitude. Even some Jew's firstborn were killed if they did not paint their door posts and lintels with blood of the sacrificed lamb. This was a prophesy of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and His atoning blood. How if you paint your doorposts (heart) with Jesus' blood you also will be forgiven.

That's a link to the same article with the same televangelist.   Isn't he the same guy that claimed Katrina was God's way of punishing New Orleans?
