From Scott, one of the owners:

The check for our sponsorship went out yesterday.  We will be having kids night every Monday night.  The month of February is set aside for Monroe SAY Soccer.  A donation will be made to Monroe SAY Soccer at the end of the month based on the number of Kids meals we sell.  Hopefully you and your organization can get the word out to all your families.  Let us know what else we can do to help.

I think you are exactly right.  It all goes back to when BWR opened, we all were so excited to get a wings place in Monroe and it was packed.  Well, to be honest and the management will agree they had a couple of rough years getting started up and people wrote them off and torched them here on the voice.  They kept calling for "competition" in monroe for your choice of places to eat.  Well, BWR went through lots of changes with a new menu, better service, and overhaul of problem employees. Nobody knows this because all we would talk about was monroe needs "options" for food and stayed away from BWR.

For the record, I regular visit both places and each have their good and bad points.  But BOTH have good management and are working their best to constantly improve service.  I think all comments presented here will be taken into consideration by the Clubhouse.

We went there today with 4 people and it was very good.  The burgers were great and the service wasn't slow for even how busy they were.  We'll return.

Once a restaurant gets NTN buzztime and dedicated TVs, it is on 24/7. Not one day a week.

Husband and I went for first time today (was hoping for a coupon but, oh well).
We thought the food was very good for a sports bar and grill.  We shared a Philly steak sandwich and a Pork tenderloin (fried).  Steak was very tasty and tender - maybe too much bread in the sandwich (speaking as a woman who TRIES to limit at least some carbs and calories - just water for me, thanks) but, hey, you have to have something to hold in all that cheese, steak juice and onions, right???  The pork tenderloin was, in our opinion, exceptional - yummy yum!!

The best news for me is that they will have Trivia network in January!!  YAY!!  No smoke, decent atmosphere,  good food, nice and efficient staff AND NTN!!!  Could I ask for more????

Time Warner Cable's business class internet (run via coax) is more than enough to support your restaurant even at it's lowest tiers. It's highest tiers would be overkill, but regardless you're only going to pay $100-200 a month. Then just buy your own wireless router and set it up and you're good to go.

also keep in mind those same social media outlets work just fine on the coverage provided by the cell phone.  I would think it's much more important for a coffee shop to have a signal than a bar.

my point is...don't worry people can still instagram pictures of their lunch even if you don't provide wifi.

if you are talking zoomtown that is barely high speed these days and is probably why you would have issues with many users.

you need to get cable internet and you will be able to accommodate more.

We were in, again, last week and brought friends with us.  We really like the food, service was a tad slow (hard to get refills and cups were taken away for refills, leaving nothing to drink while eating), BUT . . . the food arrived BEFORE the appetizer (fried pickles).  Appetizer not nearly as appetizing when served with dinner.  (No, we did not complain.)
But, all in all, one of the best places in Monroe to eat, so keep it up!

I think this is a fantastic idea. It show you really want to provide our community with the food it wants and craves!

One thing I would add is WiFi. For around $3 per day, you could provide every one of your patrons a place to use social media and internet websites to engage their online network. And were is the best place to engage your social network? At coffee places and sports bars. Heck you both could share the $3 because a good, properly placed router could reach both Coffee Beans and Brew and you.

Its as important as having large screen TVs in my opinion.

The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are.

Clubhouse, you're doing great! Please keep it up, and I know you're trying to satisfy some in the community but please don't get so focused on the few that you shy away from the solid stuff you're doing now. If you just have consistency with your bar/kitchen hours, and good environment everything will work out great for you. We come at least twice per week, and will continue to do so. Thanks!

Food for thought :)

Well call me a kid then because I would love to have some veggie options. (non fried) A lot of places have broccoli or mixed grilled vegetables.

Thank you for the suggestion.  We have kids too, although older now, and we are trying to figure out how to make your suggestion reality in this business enviroment.  Sorry to be the one to break the news, but kids meals are on menu's as a help to the families.  In some cases kids meals are at best a break even.  That said, we understand and applaud your concerns.  We will be working on a menu re-print this spring.  We hoped to use the first 6 months business to help us with that.  We should have a better idea as to the number of kids meals we are dealing with and how to attack it in a cost effective mannor.  Any and all suggestions are helpful as we look to grow our new business in Monroe.

I think it is a very good idea to have veggies as an option to fries. However I prefer peas, carrots, & corn.
