I am just venting here, but I am mad as heck.

Today was garbage pickup day. I had my recycle bin, outdoor plastic garbage can with lid, and a 20 gallon galvanized steel can out.
Now, the steel can is about 2 feet tall and it's main use is in the garage for any stuff my husband needs to throw away.

This morning, around 6:30am, I went out to bring in my newspaper. The recycles and trash had not yet been picked up, but to my surprise, our steel garbage can was gone!

I asked my husband what was in it and he said paper towels, newspaper bags, just odds and ends from the garage---nothing worthwhile.

Our street gets a lot of people who drive around after trash is set out, and sometimes they will take something we have at the curb. But take our daygone garbage can!!! Grrrr! Not blaming them in particular, but someone took it!

I like the fact that I can put out some junk and someone is going to pick it up. Still stealing garbage cans crosses the line.

Your garbage can has in all likelyhood been processed thru a local metal junker and back into the blast furnace at AK steel.
