Voting polls have closed.....now only time will tell if the superintendent change, the information disseminated, and the treasurer's report(s) were enough to get the school levy passed this time.  Here's hoping Monroe stands PROUD.

Not embarrassing to me - just disappointing that the 'no' voters don't understand that they are making things worse by voting no.

When the levy failed the last time, the prolevy people cried, whined, and commented how stupid voters were. The voters have spoken, and the levy passed. Its quite revealing to see how the prolevy are nothing but crybabies who can't respect oppossing views.

Enough to do what?  I am pro-levy and didn't whine, cry, or act like he described at all when the levy failed in August.  It just gave the pro-levy people fuel to figure out how to get the information out there so people understood the effect of their vote on our schools and property values.

To whine about people whining sounds like a whiner to me.

talk to the state

they would have put it up until it passed, with more money attached each time.

If you want to live some place where the schools aren't supported then you can move anytime.  Why you would want to live someplace and not support the community is beyond me.

Should we point out the hypocrisy of someone voting and ranting against funding education all while ignoring their own spelling and grammar mistakes?

I mean hypocrisy should be pointed out at all turns right?  We can't play favorites here.

Sigh.....do you read ANY of the information provided by the levy committee? All of your questions can be answered by reading. This vote was going to prevent further cuts, not bring anything back.  Confused
