I have decided to begin the search for an old Harley Flathead. As unlikely as it may seem to find one from an appeal on here I thought I would give it a go anyway.

I am looking to buy either an 80ci twin or a 45ci WLA or G model.

Ask around. Let me know.

Thanks,
Mike Howard

While that is quite the sweet machine. You know me Mr. Beagle I don't have the personality to pull that off.
I am looking for a stock styled 1936-1952 flathead. It doesn't have to be numbers matching.

Ooo! That is nice. Real nice. A Peashooter as it was nicknamed.
I'd have to cash out my 401k to pick up one of those. Haha.

Found a late 40's post war, WL. Everyone can stop the exhaustive search.

After bidding on literally dozens of them on eBay. Including a few Indian Scouts, I found it right here in good ol' SW Ohio. And the guy even threw in a high compression 1936 motor, sans transmission and primary, something to play with this winter.

Just guessing but there is an "Insert Image" icon on the toolbar (picture of a tree) of the Post Reply box.
If you do not see the icon, click on the arrow icon then the icon list will expand.
