We hope everyone will join the Monroe Historical Society as we host our 2nd Cruise-In at the Cabin on Thursday, September 18 from 4-7pm in the Community Park on S. Main St. Last year we had a quite respectable 55 cars entered & now with a little help from Lebanon Ford, hope to double that number!

Also joining us will be Monroe Boy Scouts Troop 54, Monroe Band Boosters, Monroe Lions Club, PAWS Adoption Center, Dayton Dragons (kettle corn), the Mobile Cone ice cream, CarZmedics (Croftgate products) & possibly, Dr. J at Miami Valley Apparel. Author Scott Fowler (LeSourdsville Lake) will be at the log cabin signing his newest book - Fantasy Farm Amusement Park. The Monroe United Methodist Church will have free games for the kids & of course, we have a DJ to spin the oldies. Monroe Police & Fire will also have vehicles on display. The Historical Society will be selling our just made Apple Butter, Monroe shirts, replica's & books. (you can't get these items anywhere else!)

Spectators are free, car entrants are asked for a $10 donation, which includes a dash plaque (1st 50), door prizes & chance in the "Driver's-Only Pool". ($1 of every entry goes into the pot - more cars, more money!), We'll have a 50-50 raffle going, too which is open to everyone. All proceeds benefit the Monroe Historical Society.

There is no school on Friday, so no excuses not to attend! Clap Our rain date is September 25. Oh - the community park lot will close from the concession stand/gazebo back after dark on the 17th. Thanks for the understanding.
