Students Support Socialism... Until Asked To Share Their GPA

With far left candidates and policies on the rise in America, it’s no surprise that for the first time ever, more young people say they’d prefer to live in a socialist country over a capitalist one.

Whether it’s free healthcare, free college tuition, or universal basic income, students around America increasingly support higher taxes on the wealthy in order to pay for these progressive policies.  But would they support similar policies if they had skin in the game?

“I guess it would be kind of hypocritical for me to say no.”

To find out, Campus Reform's Cabot Phillips went to Florida International University in Miami to test the waters on a “Socialist GPA” policy in which students with higher GPAs would be forced to “spread the wealth” and give some of their GPA points to students with lower GPAs.

Despite the overwhelming number of students who initially said they’d support socialist policies, few agreed to go along with such a plan.

Campus Reform...another right wing conservatives group. Try harder. You’re going with Don’s new mantra all about socialism in 2020

Why would anyone in a capitalist society want to "share a GPA" when you can just "BUY" a good one.

America values education so much that we make sure its own citizens pay for it their entire lives!

Drive up University Blvd. any week day and see the line of students walking up the sidewalk from the apartments towards MUM.
Those kids names are not Harry, Timmy, Sally and Jane.
Don't fool yourself socialism works wonders for people all over the world, but the most brilliant system ever devised is Communistic Capitalism. Pure genius. State controlled production, exploitable workforce, and endless foreign investment.

Truth of the matter, every company is doing its damnest to get rid of all of its pesky employees. You know the ones, Always demanding irrational things such as 'living wages' and 'affordable healthcare' and *GASP* days off!
And, stay with me, the Peoples Republic of China, has figured out how not to have to cave into such absurd demands. NEVER GIVE IN TO THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE!
All they needed was a huge influx of American investment and zero oversight and BOOM.
Now they can send their best and brightest to our state funded Universities.
I guess in the end socialism works for them here on our shores. All the while their form of Capitalistic Communism works in reverse for us. As we are able to purchase a chit ton of very low quality goods at low prices. OVER AND OVER AND OVER.
We are now and have been for better than four decades, in a global economy, the only way we will compete is to lower our standard of living to that of the people we rely on to make our consumable junk. This is being proven by the stagnation of wages over the last four and a half decades.

Yes sir, and socialism works very well at the University level. Look up 'highest paid state employees'. In nearly all 50 states its a man who screams at a half dozen young, unpaid boys who run up and down a field or court.
Then couple that with dozens of professors, at each school, who make better than $250K a year that let adjuncts and assistants do their work. And one begins to see why our secondary education system is bleeding its own citizens of every dime. All the while 'foreign nationals' are reaping the benefits.
Frankly I think Collegiate sports should be professionalized. Lets call it like it is. This is not amateurs playing for fun. The NCAA is a business. It should be conducted as such. But, see, that would cut into the tremendous amounts of cash the universities rake in. And well, that is simply unacceptable.
As for the whole 'Global Economy' bit. Its far too gone to turn that around.
In the not too far off future, America will have too classes. Owners and Workers.
Wait a minute... Never mind. That's already here.
